Thanks for Being my Snuggle Buddy... June 25, 2008

Noah, you are so affectionate and snuggly.  I'm so glad.  It feels like you need to be snuggled and loved throughout the day to fill up your tank.  Up until this past week or so I've been afraid to crawl into your little toddler bed with you for fear that I would break it.  I decided, "Who cares if I break it?" and crawled in to lay beside you a few days ago and I'm so glad I did.  I've read you stories holding the pages up high so we can lay on our backs and look at the pictures while I read, and it's been so nice.  Just now I snuggled you while we both giggled and giggled and I couldn't breath anymore because you were pretending to be Charlie, the dog next door.  You kept looking at me in the funniest, strangest way (I guess that is your "dog" face?") and licking my arm.  I sang you primary songs and lullabies, and you wrapped your arm around my neck so we were face to face and stared at me with your sweet brown eyes.  I love you, my Noah.  It is one of my life's greatest privileges and pleasures to be your mother.
